I Dream in Gold… Or Bronze
Since moving in with my better half, I find myself letting him in on my beauty regime more and more, little by little. First, I fully exposed him to the extent of my nightly beauty to-do list. Then, I slowly stocked our shower, vanity and shelves with serums, creams, cleansers, lotions, toners, masks and tools I still can’t be sure he knows what to do with. Above all this, the grooming task I was most apprehensive to introducing him to is comically, ironically the one that made the most sense to him. I am a bonafide bronzer aficionado, so the shimmery brown fingerprints on the light switch (and on the shower door, and on the dresser) were suddenly understood as self tanner residue since bronzer alone is no longer enough (sadly, my summer tan faded by the end of September). Apart from literally leaving fingerprinted evidence, which above mentioned better half never fails to mention could easily be prevented by simply washing my hands first, these self-tanners look as natural as the glow you score from the real deal.
