Kérastase’s New Aura Botanica Range Changes the Game in Natural Hair Care

Each product’s formula is 97% biodegradable, and is housed in splendidly rich burgundy and gold packaging, which is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The range includes the Bain Micellaire, a super gentle cleanser that foams into a plush lather; the Soin Fundamental, a lightweight and deeply nourishing melt-in moisturiser; and the Concentré Essentiel, an aromatic and silky oil that can be used as a leave-in or scalp treatment, as a pre-cleanse, or blended right into the Soin Fundamental for a super hydrating boost. Comprised of 99% natural origin ingredients, this hero oil ticks all the right boxes thanks to its softening and shine-inducing avocado and jojoba oil-packed formula.

Other star ingredients in the range include hand-pressed Samoan coconut oil and Moroccan argan oil, which are both prized for their ability to deeply penetrate the hair shaft and deliver long-lasting hydration, nutrition, protection, suppleness and strength. Responsibly sourced, both ingredients are harvested with the help of local women, who find employment via non-profit organisations and community-based initiatives.
