LOTUS presents EVINTRA FASHION NIGHT Toronto – VIP & Closing Reception

What better way to end Fashion Week than a super-glam, plushy party at The Ritz-Carlton? “EVINTRA FASHION NIGHT has been taking place in cities across the globe, including Toronto, Barcelona, Johannesburg, and Istanbul (and is currently planned for Dubai, Kenya, and Paris), bringing its unique fusion of fashion enthusiasts, artistic directors and renowned creative muses of fashion together.” Presented by the ultra-sleek British sports car authority, Lotus, the fashion-focused party had some interesting and amazing elements.

“This FASHION NIGHT is showcasing designers with a unique twist; instead of a conventional catwalk fashion show, the living mannequin models will walk among the crowds, taking to their podiums while still allowing the guests to get up close and personal with the garments.” Adding to the experience, “rising star and international FASHION NIGHT Tour DJ, Fizza, lead the night’s entertainment, taking to the decks performing an electro-improv set with superstar violinist Sarah Davidson-Gurney. Toronto’s Marco Bongo will also grace the stage alongside Fizza also energized the crowd.”

This was notably a charitable event, geared “to continue to improve and grow Kids Help Phone to ensure we deliver the most effective, timely and valuable counselling, referrals and information to every young person in Canada from five to 20 who could benefit from our support.”

Outside the ballroom, “Guests were treated to an exclusive peek of the latest accessories by Angela DeMontigny, RisKandy, Ms. Hair Extensions, Evan Yanagi and Royalz Clothing in the Accessories Lounge. A silent auction also ran throughout the night including art pieces from Sevan Gallery and local artist Ivana Janjic.”

Overall, it was a gorgeous way to the end the week, leaving us excited and invigorated. Cheers to the talents who made the week extraordinary and memorable!
