Fresh New Hair Texturizers that Look so Right This Season
If there’s one look that stays with me regardless of the season, year after year, it’s my Kate Moss-inspired textured hair. I’ve never loved the look of a fresh blow out (thank God — one more standing weekly beauty treatment and I’d need to downsize my condo to compensate) and even when I head to the salon for highlights or a trim, I skip out on the bouncy, round brush-curved layers in lieu of wet locks. Preferring to let my hair air dry and add in some bends and twists when I toss my hair here or tuck it there, once dry, I enlist the help of these amazing new texturizers that feel so new for this season, even if this has been my go-to look since I was 17.

Their Dust-It mattifying powder gets a whole lot more exciting this season with their newest formula, which is infused with lava rock. Deliciously scented and creating instant flexible, touchable volume, sprinkle this powder on for the perfect soft matte-finish.
Bumble and bumble Cityswept Finish
B&B introduces its newest addition to their ever-growing collection of awesome texturizers, Cityswept Finish. This balm-in-a-can “dispenses in a lightweight veil to define and control.” Providing “supple hold, this finishing spray creates lived-in, “street-styled” looks with separation and sheen.” Creating that ever-elusive lived-in look has never been so easy.
Osis+ Rough Rubber
For a piece-ier, more defined finish, this bouncy, putty-like paste works wonders. My favourite way to use a tiny dab (a little goes a long way; my chest-length hair only needed a dime-sized blob) of this stuff is when my hair is wet. Creating mouldable, easy to manipulate texture, this product actually smoothed and reduced any trace of frizz and is my new go-to.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
Ultra glam and touted by every celebrity hair queen, this “invisible dry hair spray builds in incredible volume and sexy texture.
